White Rapper Show Beef?

As if it doesn't get any dumber and pointless as,''The White Rapper Show' to begin with, there's a diss track by Dasit (Eminem sound alike)called , 'Hater' circulating. He proceeds to diss MC Serch(who at this point I figure to be too pointless to even mention beyond the fact he's being dissed on this record) Persia and Shamrock. I personally refuse to watch the show. I only listened to the track because I couldn't knowingly post it without actually listening to it first. Anyway, as far as Les-tor is concerned, they can all go to bloody hell!

As a white person in Hip-Hop this show was painful to watch and was a huge set back to the culture, embracing a number of stereotypes I would have hoped to see people look to squash rather than exploit.

1st... What's second? Great achievment how so, I'd really like to know? I'm not a female so that comment really sucks. It'd be cool for you to actually express your opinion and follow it up by providing some information that may change my opinion of the show.

You lose Talk of NY...
You'd rather insult me then actually say something relevant that can be read by every other person that reads this blog.

Geez...

I Lost? You lose for not picking up on the concept of this show. Its a joke! "Ego Trip" was cosigning the joke. Lets be real do you think they picked the best white rappers out the bunch?..or a bunch of geeks you can get a kick out of thats makes for great t.v? You read too deep into what was a simple joke. If you would've watched the show instead of basing your prejudice on your hate of either Serch or White rappers abroad, you would've caught on.

Seesh...

Talk of NY, I'm not sure you're reading deep enough into it. MC Serch cosigned on one of the great surburban rappers, Hot Karl, a couple of years ago and was even on Karl's album, "The Great Escape" (a modern classic for those with open ears). Serch knows that white MC's can be great talking about where they come from and living their own realities, but judging by Karl's lackluster album sales VERY FEW people know of Serch's work with him. Serch has to know this, which is what makes his much more public stance that "rap has to be from the hood" all the more sad. Though you may take it as tounge in cheek there are A LOT more people out there who are taking it seriously. The show was a detriment to Hip-Hop.

Excuse me for not getting the joke. Sarcasim and such can be lost in translation in a comment on a blog.

My point with you was that you could've just as easily said what you said just as you've responsed to my previous post to begin with.

Perhaps you didn't see the purpose of what I said in the first place. You come off as if your only intent was to diss me on my blog.

Anyway, thank you for saying what you did this time around.

Also, I don't have any special hate for white rappers or Serch generally.(you're doing exactly what you accused me of doing.Digging too deep.)

What I do have is a dislike for individulas that communicate in an adverse and coarse manner when it's not necessary to do so.

Remember, what you choose to express at times can be lost in translation. Just consider that in your dialogs regardless of where they are. People do read you know, and taking time to actualy engage in a productive conversation instead of trying to 'own' someone on their blog might serve to benefit yet another person besides yourself.

Thanks for the comments Talk of NY.
This is exactly the exchange I was looking for. (I still don't appreciate the comment about that 'time of the month', because it was quite disrespectful not only to me but generally that statement is to women. If you don't understand why then, that's just on you).

Well Your correct Adam I didn't know about Karl. But what I don't understand is why must this show be considered as disrespectful to Hip-Hop? Theres Rock & Roll shows with the same basic concept yet I never heard of anybody being offended. Les-tor lets be real, you came off as having envy towards Serch. "He proceeds to diss MC Serch(who at this point I figure to be too pointless to even mention beyond the fact he's being dissed on this record)" If you felt I disrespected you with my comment "That time of the month" so be it, to me you sounded hormonal at that time.

i will not get involved in this new and improved beef that seems to have developed, but i will say that my (white)boy C.O.N.C.E.P.T. said it best: "Don't Be What You're Not."
